Resistant Materials
Year 7 students have the opportunity to follow 2 Resistant Materials courses. One involves a Balancing Toy and the other a Pull along Toy. Students learn about the classification of materials, manufacturing processes, namely Jigs and Templates, elementary mechanisms, methods of joining materials including brazing and finishing processes. Most students should go home with a product at the end of each module.
